Mr. Bala has more than 25 years of extensive experience in external and internal audit across multiple industries. He is the Founder and Managing Director of JBS Practice Public Accounting Corporation, established in 2012, and has built the firm into a trusted professional practice serving a diverse portfolio of local and international clients. His expertise spans auditing, accounting, financial advisory, and management consultancy, through which he provides strategic insights and practical solutions to support clients’ business growth and compliance needs.
Mr. Bala is actively engaged in both the professional and community landscape. He previously served as Chairman of the Jalan Besar Kitchener Lavender Neighbourhood Committee. He was also a Council Member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, where he took on the role of Treasurer and contributed to several technical committees. In addition, he has been involved in initiatives with the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce and served as a Finance Member of the Hindu Endowments Board.

Ms. Shirley has extensive experience in providing audit and assurance services to clients across a wide range of industries.
Throughout her career, she has been involved in managing and delivering high-quality audit engagements while ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
Within the firm, she plays a key role in monitoring engagement quality reviews, ensuring that audit work is carried out with consistency, accuracy, and in accordance with established quality control procedures. Her commitment to maintaining high standards of audit quality contributes significantly to the firm’s overall service excellence.

Esther joined the firm in 2020 and brings over 20 years of experience in assurance, accounting, and corporate tax advisory, with a strong focus on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
She has served clients across a wide range of industries, including construction, early childhood education, shipping, trading, manufacturing and financial services.
Esther oversees the firm’s audit engagements, including staff scheduling and resource allocation, while ensuring high standards of quality and compliance.
She is also actively involved in staff development through training and mentoring interns.
Esther is an Accredited Tax Advisor (Income Tax) and an Accredited Tax Practitioner (GST), enabling her to provide valuable guidance on complex tax matters and regulatory requirements.

Arvin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines, with more than 15 years of experience in assurance, finance, and academia.
He has extensive audit and assurance experience, having handled a portfolio of public listed companies, multinational corporations, and small and medium-sized enterprises across various industries, including real estate, property development, construction, manufacturing, shipping, trading, and investment holding.
Arvin has also been involved in IPO and due diligence engagements in Singapore, providing valuable insights and support in complex financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
He currently leads the firm’s Philippine operations, overseeing audit engagements and managing the firm’s presence and service delivery in the region.

Lilis is the Deputy Director of Audit & Assurance, specialising in complex group audits and multi-layer consolidation under IFRS.
She has extensive experience leading audits of trading commodities conglomerates, manufacturing entities, investment dealing businesses, private investment companies, and investment holding companies with cross-holding shareholder structures and multi-jurisdictional operations.
She is experienced in managing layered ownership structures, restructuring exercises, and cross-border reporting complexities, while providing clear, practical guidance to Boards and senior management.
